Wet Paper Erotic Stories: Which Volume to Read First

Category: Product Reviews

Compare Wet Paper's 13-story first volume with the 17-story second volume, and decide which erotic story collection to start with based on mood, pace, and language options.

Quick answer

Start with Wet Paper · 13 erotic stories if you want a lighter, curiosity-led entry point, then move to Wet Paper II · 17 erotic stories for a longer second round. If you already know you want more reading time per sitting, begin with Volume II and treat Volume I as a backfill.

Why the reading order is not strictly numerical

Both volumes are standalone contest anthologies, not a continuous narrative, so you will not spoil a plot by starting with the second book. The practical difference is scope: Volume I gathers thirteen stories from the first Bijoux Indiscrets erotic story contest, while Volume II gathers seventeen from the second. That makes Volume II the longer single-volume read, but it does not make Volume I redundant; the first collection is the more compact way to sample the range before committing to a larger anthology.

The trade-off between a smaller sampler and a longer collection

A shorter anthology gives you faster variety and a lower-risk way to learn what kind of short erotic fiction you actually finish. A longer one gives you more chances to find a story that clicks, but it also asks for more uninterrupted reading time. Neither volume is described as a guided sequence, so the honest limitation is that you cannot predict tone or intensity from the catalog alone; the story count is the clearest supplied difference to plan around.

Language and format matter more than volume number

Both products list language as an available option, so check the option before ordering rather than assuming the edition. Wet Paper · 13 erotic stories is presented as a one-handed read designed for reading at your own pace, and Volume II repeats that one-handed framing. If you read in more than one language or buy as a gift, confirm the language selection first; the story count will not help you if the edition is not the one you can comfortably read.

Trade-offs that decide your order

Shorter sampler vs. longer collection: Choose Wet Paper · 13 erotic stories first if you want a compact introduction; choose Wet Paper II · 17 erotic stories first if you want the most stories in one purchase. If you read only occasionally, the shorter volume is less likely to sit unfinished.
Contest context: Volume I draws from the first contest and Volume II from the second, so the order is chronological in origin but not required for understanding.
Language option check: Both volumes offer a language option; confirm your edition before checkout, especially for gifts or shared reading. Do not assume the default edition matches your reading language.
